Ingredients for a single serving:

  • 1 serving of Monte Monaco chickpea Penne Pasta
  • Zest of half an organic lemon
  • 30-40 ml cream (vegetable or cow’s milk)
  • 160 ml water
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Turmeric
  • Pepper, salt (Kala Namak is excellent in this case)


Put the row pasta directly into a pan raw, browning it quickly with a little evo oil. Add the indicated amount of water gradually, taking care to stir lightly and gently. Add water when the previous one is almost absorbed.

About the end of the cooking time, stir in the vegetable cream, add the tip of a teaspoon turmeric, the grated lemon rind and season with salt and pepper. Serve.
